Firstly thank you for entering the Ipswich Silver. As a club we are excited to have a silver event
back on the England Squash calendar again this season! For those who have played our event
before, welcome back. For those new to our event we look forward to meeting you for the first
time and hope this information will be helpful for you.

Please arrive at your match venue and report to the tournament desk for registration each day
and each new venue at least 20 minutes before the start of your match. Please note that there
are currently extensive roadworks on both that A12 & A14 so please be aware this will may
affect your travel time.
Match Schedule
Friday 19th April Boys U19, U15 & U13 Girls U13 & U17
All other age categories will play their first matches on Saturday 20th April


Waitlist
Players who do not initially make the draw will be added to the waitlist in ranking order. If there is
a withdrawal and a space comes available, the player at the top of the waiting list will be advised
as soon as possible and invited to be included in the draw.
Players currently on the waitlist are provided in the attached, and in the order listed. If players on
the waitlist do not make the draw, a full refund will be provided after the event.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws from the tournament once the draws have been
issued.
Withdrawals during the event If a player needs to withdraw mid tournament, he/she or the parent must contact the appropriate
tournament manager at the venue for their next match as soon as possible giving the full reason
for withdrawal. Players withdrawing or default a match also default any subsequent matches.
You must contact the tournament director or contact by phone asap at your next venue if you

need to withdraw. Do not send an email.

Parking: There is ample parking at the club in both the main carpark and old hockey pitch. ISC
also have 8 EV charging points for those of you who wish to charge your electric car.
Food and drink: There is a bar which will be offering hot food everyday. For the parents there will
be coffee and tea ready to rumble all day! We have attached the ISC tournament menu

Bag store: It is important we keep the squash section clear so if all participants could use the bag
store located in the function room and second studio this would be helpful.

Gym: The gym will be out of bounds for all players. Guest passes for the gym for Adults will be
available on request from the tournament desk.

Parking: There is ample parking onsite at the club.
Food and drink: Food will be available at the following times:
Saturday: 11am -2pm & 5pm - 9pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 12am & 12am - 2pm
Please note there is also a Greggs, Tescos and M&S located within 3 minutes of the club if you
require anything extra.
Bag store: It is important we keep the squash section clear so if all participants could use the bag
store located at the end of the Squash Corridor this would be helpful.
Gym and swimming pool: The gym and pool will be out of bounds for all parents and players.

Things to do in Ipswich!!
We love our little Suffolk town (hopefully soon to be city!). The countryside around Ipswich is
beautiful and there are lots of lovely places to explore.
Parks: Christchurch Park is close to Ipswich Sports Club and is a beautiful place to go for a walk
and unwind.
Waterfront: You can wander down to the marina, there are plenty of restaurants here.
Cinemas: We have two main cinemas- Omniplex and Cineworld.
Restaurants: There are a large array of different cuisines on offer, feel free to ask the tournament
team for recommendations.
Fun activities: Inflata Nation Inflatable Theme Park Jimmys Farm & Suffolk Foodhall for a jumpy
pillow and a scoop of local ice cream.
