Daventry Squash Inter-Team County Competition

What is this?

The Inter-Team County Competition is open to all players who have competed in the Winter Northants Leagues, whether you play for Daventry, Kettering, Market Harborough, Cornhill, Saints, Lings, Carlton or Dianas. Everyone across all levels are welcome to enter!

Players enter individually. You’ll be grouped based on your Squash Levels. Once entries close, mixed-ability teams of five players will be generated at random. Each team will include:

#5 – Player E (5th Squash Level ranking)

#4 – Player D (4th Squash Level ranking)

#3 – Player C (3rd Squash Level ranking)

#2 – Player B (2nd Squash Level ranking)

#1 – Player A (1st Squash Level ranking)

Each individual will compete against players of the same ranking from other teams. This ensures balanced and competitive matches. This event is designed to be fun, sociable, and competitive. It is a great opportunity to meet other players from across the county. Every point in each game counts. The match format is games to 11, best of 3 games. This may extend depending on the number of total entries. The team with the highest total points at the end wins! 

Results will be recorded on Squash Levels. The winner from each match is then expected to referee the following match on whatever court they have just played on. Bar open throughout the day.

When is this?

Saturday 2nd May. Expected start time around 10:00, running for most of the day. The full schedule will be sent out a few days prior to the event once we have confirmed the number of entries. Closing date for entry is Tuesday 12th May.
